Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 13th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Mellon Room at the Northeast Harbor Library.
Meeting – It’s All about Us!
We are going to do something a little different at this meeting. Instead of listening to a presenter, we are going to listen to each other! We’ll put the chairs in a circle and have an actual “meeting” to talk about the club: what people like, dislike, or would like to see done differently.
George will also ask the Committee Chairs and Officers to say a few words about their roles to give everyone a better sense of what the few do to serve the many. A goal of this dialog is to encourage others to take on a leadership role next year so that there will be a club next year!
During the second half of the meeting we’ll have our slide show and critique session. So please submit lots of Outing and Share photos. Also, consider submitting one image for critique.
Please come to this meeting and bring your ideas and enthusiasm. In order for the club to continue and thrive, you the members have to participate and contribute. If you can’t attend, please email your thoughts to club president George Soules (email@example.com) and he will share them at the meeting for you.
This month members are encouraged to create and submit images that would be suitable for a calendar in a horizontal 4×5 format. Consider: Is this image engaging enough for someone to look at for an entire month? What might the theme of my calendar be? When you submit, please indicate the month you had in mind for the image.
Let’s have fun with this assignment! The ideas are endless—go for it!
Additionally, you can submit photos for Outing, Share, and Critique categories. Please follow the guidelines here.
